There is a brewing controversy over the recent Silva vs. Sonnen MMA fight in the UFC.  UFC rules state that you cannot knee a downed opponent in the head.  One of the big shots in the second round was a Silva knee while Chael was down sitting in his butt up against the cage.  Look at the following GIF and see what you think!

This is one of the best knees I have ever seen thrown into a very, very tight space.  Clearly what I am seeing is knee impact to the chest of Sonnen.  What do you think?  If it is the chest, upper chest, etc. then it is legal.  If it is to the chin, head, etc. then it is illegal.  I see a fantastic, legal knee!
