Remy Amador Presas also known affectionately as “The Professor” was one of the greatest martial practitioner’s of our time or any time for that matter.  Following are some clips from instructional videos that he produced.  Enjoy!

Live Seminar footage:

I feel blessed to have met and trained with him.  His legacy carries on in all the martial practitioner’s that still teach what they learned from him!  He was magical!!!

That “across the belly” disarm brings back memories….its odd seeing it now because it seems like you don’t see it much anymore for some reason. I always liked it.

    • Hey tgace, glad you enjoyed the clips. The Professor had so many unique ways of disarming. It was a joy watching him teach and learning how to perform that magic!
You are right in that you do not see a lot of people utilizing that disarm. Partially because it is dangerous and also partially because not everyone had his hand strength. When he had you in a grip you were not going to get away! It is a cool technique though and while I like utilizing that disarm in other places I do not do it around my belly very often!
