Life Is Short…….

Brian HS VofF

Life is short.  There is simply no way around this.  It does not matter whether you are old, young or in between.  The fact is that we are here on this planet and alive for a very short time.  Something happened to me today to remind me of this.  What that was is unimportant but…… yet again I was shown that life can be normal in one moment and not normal for someone the next.  This applies to all of us but what I take from it is that I need to be doing what makes me happy. This applies to the here and now and of course I need to plan also for the future so that I can be happy then as well.  Since life can be short get out and enjoy it!   Find your passion in life and explore it!   Do not wait, do not put it off!  No, instead find what you enjoy and pursue it with passion!  Love your friends and family.  Live for today but also plan some for tomorrow.  However, most importantly if there is something you want to do get out and do it!  From my own personal perspective I love my friends and family and explore the Martial Sciences with a passion.  Sometimes I will admit it I go overboard.  Yet, no one will say that I did not pursue my dreams!  Life is short even if you live till your eighties.  Find what you love and go and get it!  Live your dreams!

See You On The Mats!!!

Great advice, I have recently come to realize I am no where near that in my current career… it is amazing the stuff you figure out when you break that 1/2 century mark.

I knew I was old when I finally understood what they meant when they told me youth is wasted on the young 🙂

  2. Hey Tim,

So true that youth is wasted on the young! 😉
