So, I had the opportunity to get out and do some shooting with my new Glock 17 Gen 5 outfitted with a red dot. I found that I was slightly more accurate and it seemed to be easier to stay on target with multiple shots. It was slightly slower with drawing from the holster but that is something I can work on. Since I shoot red dot with my AR’S I am going to transition primarily to red dot across my Firearms platforms. I will still shoot iron sights and maintain my skills and also have other optics for longer shooting but primarily I am going to have my edc’s red dot equipped and practice accordingly!
