Hitting The Mats!

Every time you step on the mats you need to be ready to go.  Anything can happen and usually does.  Last night we got through with our technical training and then when right into some alive training.  Starting it off we went into some Positional Rolling and some Submission Rolling.  Then onto Marking Knife Sparring and then Padded Stick Sparring.  A few other practitioner’s got to go at it Full Contact with Rattan and WEKAF headgear and armor.  You just never know what we are going to do and you need to be ready physically and mentally!

Following is some footage of two practitioner’s submission rolling!  Enjoy the footage!

Just Like In Real Life When It Is Time To Perform You Have To Be Ready!

This was a pretty good video, your guys looked tired though from the start of the film, I’ve spent a good portion of my time refining my ground fighting and grappling and one of the key elements in it is to remain as explosive as possible, its just like wrestling for the most part. That being said, I recognized quite a few techniques in there including a few attempts at a triangle choke, then eventually he got em with that collar choke.

It was very well done and was worth sitting here to watch. 🙂

Hey Sanchin-J thanks for the comment on the Blog. These two practitioner’s know each other’s game inside and out so they are pretty patient and relaxed when rolling only exploding into movement when needed for a submission. Needless to say it does go back and forth.

    See you over on MartialTalk!
