Okay I have had many teachers and each one is special to me. Fortunately I have always kept good relations with each one and through their help and guidance I have moved along the path I have chosen in the Martial Sciences! I think it is extremely important to understand that the people you have learned from deserve your respect and honor. I know that the instructors that taught me were absolutely great and helped to feed the fire and passion that I have for the Martial Sciences. My second instructor was simply a fantastic individual and a world class martial artist at the time when he was teaching me. Jeff Fields trained and taught both Tae Kwon Do and Modern Arnis. This was a blessing for me because Jeff was very, very well rounded and could break down how to do techniques in a very straight forward manner. Through the years I have looked back at the time I spent with Jeff and always thought of how lucky I was to have found him so early in my training. I can vividly recall that training and since Jeff was close to Remy Presas and brought him to Michigan regularly at his Burton Training Hall within a month or so of training with Jeff I was lucky to start attending Remy Presas Modern Arnis seminars. That was a real bonus on oh so many levels. The great friends I also made during this period have made my life special. Jeff Fields took the time to teach and show what was needed at the foundation of Martial Science training and that has formed how I view and train throughout my life. Thanks Jeff and I know many, many people who feel the same!
See You On The Mats!
