Okay I have some friends that practice this system of Arnis and it is simply a very cool close in fighting stick style.  Founded a long time ago in the Philippines by Anciong Bacon this system has proven itself over and over again as being an effective martial system.  Michigan where I live has a strong group of Balintawak practitioners all trained by Manong Ted Buot.
