Okay one component of Instinctive Response Training is the Cornerstone Lunging Techniques. These are big movements that can really rock an attacker in the moment. Usually they come after you strike an attackers arm, leg and then you move in with your whole body for massive damage. They can however be use immediately and offensively with no counter attack. They are derived from the Sanshin No Kata of Budo Taijutsu but also have a Silat or FMA feel to them in the manner with which we practice them in IRT. So much that they are uniquely IRT at this point.
