Ahhh The Smell Of Battle!

woodchuck

…..So we have the cutest little thing living under the porch.  Yes a wood chuck or ground hog has moved in.  Not just at my house but also under the neighbor’s house.  The neighbor no longer lives there so they are completely unaware of the situation.  Really these pests which are related to the squirrel are probably the cutest things you will see.  Except that after their cuteness wears off and you realize that they burrow and cause damage then you know you need to take control of the situation.  So I find myself preparing by getting a live trap and I will bait the trap and capture it for relocation.  Wood Chucks carry rabies so it will be imperative not to be bit but to relocate and move the critter over ten miles away.  Needless to say if this does not work then I will utilize the drive out method a friend of mine uses.  Fire crackers thrown into the hole.  This method apparently works great as well.  Still having the neighbor’s house also infested I think that a live trap and relocation is the best idea.  After wards I will fill in the holes and place some coyote urine in the area to ward off other pests.  So battle is in the air. Now how does this apply to Martial Science training.  Well it all comes down to knowing the opposition and how to tactically gain the advantage.  In this case I know what I am up against and what he likes to eat. (ie. green leaves, broccoli, apples, etc.  He is a vegetarian after all)  Next I have formulated a plan to take care of the problem.  Finally their will be the execution of the plan and obviously minor changes as needed.  So it relates to Martial Science training as you plan, prepare and execute your tactics.  Wish me luck and expect some pictures not to soon with our furry little friend.

See You On The Mats!
