…..I am a firm believer in being in excellent physical shape! If you are in shape you definitely increase your potential to survive a violent encounter. So I do quite a bit of conditioning and strength training. While I do not enjoy running I do go out and hit the road and trail’s. When I do run however it is not jogging but instead really running. Another thing I actually enjoy is sprinting so I try and get in some wind sprints 40,50 and 100 yard dashes. I have always enjoyed weight training from the early age of 16 and rekindled that passion this last winter when I started heavily into Kettle Bells. If you have not worked with kettle bells then give it a go because it could be life changing! Free squats, push ups, sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, swimming, hiking, mountain climbing, biking, etc. Spend your time outdoors and get in fantastic shape. Your skill sets will improve because you will be more flexible, stronger and able to keep going because of your cardio. One of the fastest ways to improve your conditioning is working with a private fitness expert or a personal trainer. Having someone to push you to get better is always a great way to get in shape!
