Constantly Looking For Improvement!

…..One thing I try to impart to any practitioner that trains with me is that I am never satisfied with my skill sets.  I am always trying to constantly improve my martial skill sets and pushing myself and those around me to do so.  If you look critically at your skill sets and pick them apart you will find lots of areas where you can improve.  Every year I write down areas where I believe improvement is needed.  Take last year I wanted to improve close in stick fighting and I have pursued Balintawak amongst other things to insure that I would make some serious movement in that area.  The fruition is a year later my skill sets have changed and improved and I am happy but certainly not satisfied with where they are at.  So no mater where you are at in your training always be critical and analyze what you do or have someone else analyze where you are at and give advise.  You may be surprised that if you are constantly looking for improvement that you will be one of those individuals who continues to grow, improve and enjoys what they do!
