…..Last night in Alma, Michigan Jose Prieto and Mike Hammer entered the cage for an MMA match. Both Jose and Mike have been training for a long time and Jose is now a veteran of eight matches while this was Mike’s first MMA match after just winning a grappling tournament in Texas! Still with their experience and charisma I can imagine that their opponents felt some serious fear! Mike went first and after being taken down utilized the “nino guard” to confuse his opponent and then finished the match in the first round with a reverse bent armlock form IRT or also called the omoplata! Congratulations Mike as that is a really cool way to finish a match! Next up Jose went into the cage and got after it and at one point he was on his back and hit his opponent with an Up Kick and almost knocked him out right then and there. Later Jose finished his guy off with a rear naked choke! Wow I wish I could have been there but it was almost like I was as Jose and Mike called me after each of their matches! Way to go guy’s and know that I and everyone in the IRT community are very proud of you! Look for pictures and video later right here on The Instinctive Edge!
