Yesterday I had a little time to myself so out comes the gun oil, swabs and some hands and elbows to get to work. Cleaning day’s are always important. We must make sure that our tools are cleaned, lubed, loaded and ready to go! So make sure you keep your tools in a ready condition.
Here was the first group to be cleaned…
After that there was more… Seriously we were just getting warmed up 😉

Thanks Mike, the importance of cleaning and keeping your gear ready cannot be emphasized enough. It is some times a pain but also since I enjoy cleaning it can be fun! 😉
But I thought Glocks don’t need cleaning? Haha joking of course but I have heard that they are built to work with minimum maintenance. I usually only clean mine once every other range visit.
Well Mike, the dirty little secret about Glock’s is that they run well no matter what. Simple design, excellent function. Still I keep mine clean because some of the other tools require being cleaned and oiled in order to work well. Take for instance an AR it needs extra attention. While a Glock or an AK not so much.
I haven’t been to the range in over a month! 🙁
