Looked In The Mirror Lately…

Have you looked in the mirror lately?  How hard are you training.  Could you deal with a young man in his prime?  If you can’t and you haven’t been working very hard then you need to address it.  A serious martial practitioner will make sure that he or she is in shape and prepared to handle any violent attacks upon their family.  Some times working out can be difficult.  Time constraints vey often play a part in what we can and cannot do.  However, my advice is to find the time and place to insure that you are in shape.  Try to create recreational activities that you enjoy above and beyond the martial sciences that will allow you to lead a healthy fit lifestyle.  Hiking, biking, running, swimming, walking the dogs, kayaking, paddle boarding, weight lifting, etc.  Find activities to do with your significant other to keep you both in shape.  As a practitioner geared towards personal protection you probably won’t get to choose the time and place where a predator tries to attack you.  However, you can maintain a baseline of fitness that always keep you ready! 😉

See You On The Mats!
