Every now and then you need to practice alive and hit and be hit by a moving target. This will definately help to keep you focused and also living in the real world. Just the other day two IRT practitioner’s took it to the next level by working with rattan in a Full Contact manner with Filipino Body Armor. Down the road they will eventually just go at it with Fencing Sabre Masks.

Sounds like the same philosophy that the “Dog Brothers” use on the National Geographic special I saw on TV this week.

Lot’s of similarities that is for sure. One thing that is a little different though is the footwork that we employ. If you taped the show go back and watch it and notice the lack of angling or in and out movement. Still the show was fun and I really like what they do!
