Momentum!

website-angled-elbow1

…..One thing that I see regularly is how someone gets momentum going on their side during training and it allows them to have great martial growth in a short period of time.  When training we are all looking to improve and improving can be difficult or harder to achieve the longer you train.  Through the years I have consistently observed some people get momentum going in their training and they have achieved great results.  One of the things that allowed them to do this is simply making their Martial Science training a priority!  Really that is probably one of the number one factors in why I see people improving.  They really are into it and put forth effort and make sure that they get their training in.  By making their martial training a priority they have dedicated themselves and are willing to make the effort and sacrifices to ensure that they will improve.  That really gets the momentum going! Once training is a priority then the little details can kick in to keep that growth happening.  Things like paying attention to the small details of technique to pressure testing the training and so on.  Once commitment has been achieved and people are training regularly and paying attention to details and pressure testing then momentum has started and growth is going to happen!  So in order to gain momentum in your training really commit to it and make your training happen!  You may be surprised at how far you will go!
