…..Everyone who is in contact with me knows that I enjoy Filipino blades.  All kinds actually but I have a soft spot for Ginunting’s!  I have a number of antique blades that well are absolutely beautiful but I will not be cutting anything with them do to their priceless value.  So I need newer blades not only to practice with but to also cut with.  I have done business with Leslie Buck at KaliGear for quite awhile now and his service is always first rate.  He is also a Filipino and Indonesian practitioner with an eye for quality in his products.  So in looking at his site I was happy to find a Ginunting for sale!  The Traditional Combat Ginunting is really a very nicely made blade and has a great feel to it!  The craftsmanship is very well done and the blade is a joy to hold and swing in your hand!  Made in the Philippines it is coming from the source and has that feel that you are looking for in an excellent Ginunting!  Needless to say I was very pleased with this purchase and have had this tool out in usage on my property.   Definitely if you are in the market for a working Ginunting that is a fine quality blade from the Philippines then look no further as this one is really, really nice!  Excellent blade if I do say so myself!
