Managing Your Time!

Website Angled Elbow Wild

…..One of the harder things to do in life is to manage your time effectively so that you can get in your martial science training while not effecting other parts of your life.  Time management is an essential skill set because in order to train we must make sure that our work is done, family is taken care of and that any other issue has been dealt with and resolved.  Quite often I am pulled in ten to fifteen different directions or more through out the typical day.  I manage my time by writing down where I need to be and by doing this I keep a pretty effective note book.  This has worked for me pretty well and I only seem to get out of sorts when I do not follow this method.  Still in the past I have also relied solely on memory and that worked well until my kid’s got a little older. 😉

…..Time management is an essential skill set because if you do it well you should have plenty of time for training and even more for those special opportunities.

I’m also always interested in improving my time management… I find that prioritizing my daily things to do list has proven highly effecient in improving mine.

Another post on another blog shared a new method for prioritizing that was new to me, I went to the posted link and downloaded a final ‘release candidate beta copy’ of this new product. You might want to check it out with your experience and knowledge. It is awesome and I find now that I use it for many decision needs.
