One Aspect Of The Nature Of Life!

Tenessee Summer of 2009 009

…..Life is short! Make no mistake about this.  One moment it is here and the next it is gone.  So enjoy it while you have it! How does this pertain to the martial practitioner?  It means that your time is finite in learning the Martial Sciences and you need to practice and learn as much as you can.  There is simply no guarantee that you will be around to learn more so focus on your studies and of course enjoy the process! So go at your studies with a gusto.  I mean really delve into it and learn everything you can.  The process of learning will transform you and during the course of your life I personally believe you will be changed for the better.  The Martial Sciences transcendentally change people.  There is some thing about the physical, mental and spiritual process that definitely changes us!  This change is some thing special in my opinion!  Some thing unique and some thing to be enjoyed and shared if possible!  So while life may be finite or relatively short.  Why not take that time to grow, change and be what you want to be!

See You On The Mats!

I like that and needed that today…thank you,

It also made me think of this from the Upanishads

One comes to be of just such stuff as that which ones mind is set

Thanks Tim I am glad that you enjoyed the post.

I also like your quote from the Upanishads that is
an excellent point that we all should take to heart.
