Remy Presas was one of the most dynamic martial practitioner’s that I personally have ever met.  He was simply a fantastic teacher!  The following video shows him explaining the 6 Count!  Enjoy!

I never meant Remy Presas and I have never trained Modern Arnis, and nothing against any of the people in this 6 count drill working with Remy Presas but I am always amazed at how relaxed and natural martial artists with the experience and level of understanding of Remy Presas demonstrate their martial art.

That video was great, thanks for that

    Glad you enjoyed it Tim!

In regards to Modern Arnis practitioner’s there is a wide variety of them. The Professor often taught his system as an adjunct or ad on to another system. Many people only learned at seminars and the FMA were not their primary focus. So consequently some practitioner’s coming from a different background might move quite a bit differently than someone who just studied Modern Arnis.

I wouldn’t mind training Modern Arnis myself someday, but then I am a fan of FMA, even though I have not trained it……
