But What If I Did This!?

silat-tv1

Just finished reading a book written by Steve Perry.  No, not Steve Perry from Journey but the Steve Perry who practices Silat.  Steve practices in the Pacific Northwest with Guru Stevan Plinck.  The style or system of Silat that Steve studies is Pukulan Pentjak Silat Sera Plinck.  This is a system predominantly based of Pukulan Pentjak Silat as taught by Paul De Thouars who taught it to Stevan Plinck. (though Mr. Plinck does have extensive training in other Silat systems)  But what if I did this!? is a fun read.  Mostly a short story book with lots of excerpts of it taken from Steve Perry’s blog: http://themanwhonevermissed.blogspot.com/

Steve is a writer by trade and his written word is fun to read.  Very enjoyable.  If you like Silat or just like to read about someone’s martial experiences then this might be for you.

But What If I Did This!? can be found at Amazon here:

It is also pretty inexpensive as an e-book!

Brian, you do realize using a reference to Journey and Steve Perry as well as my recognizing that reference…means we’re old 🙂

I like his Blog, the first few entries were Ukulele and that is my instrument of the moment 🙂

I will look for the book, thanks for pointing me in the direction

  3. Yeah Tim we are up there in age. lol

His writing is fun and easy to read. Definitely a neat read just hearing about another persons martial journey is cool!
