Jesse Glover was awesome, wish I had a chance to train with him, sadly he passed away June 27, 2012.

My all to short exposure to JKD taught me an awful lot about the styles I train (Xingyiquan and Taijiquan) and a more than a little about myself too. Still wish I had the chance to train with Jesse Glover though

  2. I love watching and learning from older martial practitioner’s. They have so much knowledge to pass on. JKD has a lot to offer! My first exposure to it was somewhere around 1981, 82 with a Dan Inosanto and Cass Magda seminar at MSU. Great experience!

My first exposure was not to long ago, but it was in the Jerry Poteet line with some Lamar M. Davis influence. It was an incredible learning experience for me. But these darn injuries stopped me cold, and then he closed his school, and moved south. But I learned a lot, about a lot of things I never expected to learn, in a very short time. I would agree JKD has a lot to offer.
