So I get to my range as much as possible. Some times even three times a week if I am lucky. When shooting I am working on accuracy and tactical skill sets. When firing I might employ the Mozambique method, Zipper Method, etc. I even just solely work on single shot accuracy. That is very important! Other skill sets that I regularly work on is the “Combat Reload” also known as a speed reload. Which can be seen here during the IRT Online Adventure Introduction video:
Another tactical firearm skill set that I regularly work on is the “Tactical Reload”. This is a situational skill set where you may want to have a fully loaded firearm and you have a brief pause in shooting and can seek cover to get behind and perform it. Not as important as learning the “Combat Reload” but still a skill set to have for when it is useful.
There are quite a few more skill sets that I work on but the above are basics that everyone should know. As the Online Training video system continues they will be included so that you can see them. My advice would be to train with a qualified firearms instructor and learn them for your skill sets! I would also advise training with a SIRT laser firearm first before you move onto live fire.
