I have had constant knee pain for a pit. I guess this is just one of the joys of getting older. Yeah!!! Not anything serious just minor knee pain that bothers me when going down stairs. So I have utilized the RICE method I learned in college through sports medicine. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. So far so good as it appears to be getting better. When training and teaching I wear a knee brace under the usually knee pads. When teaching I am training as because I specialize in private lessons almost all of my classes involve movement, breakfalls, two person drills, etc. So it is challenging to work around an injury but I am doing it well so far. I will persevere. This is just another test on this martial journey and I will be careful but also train and teach. Because this is what I love! It is my life!
