A good friend of mine has passed away. It is a very sad day for the entire martial arts world. Bob Orlando was simply one of a kind. He touched anyone that he taught and many more people. Bob you will be missed greatly! He authored two of the best books you could ever read. These books are titled: Indonesian Fighting Fundamentals and Martial Arts America. Personally I owe Bob more than you could imagine. Little details that I picked up from training with him both in seminars and privately at my home have helped me greatly on my martial path!
He will be missed by us all and the world is a poorer place.

If you don’t know how good Bob was then you simply missed out. He was so good that one of my friends Bill Bednarick said it aptly one time during training “That Is Bob “Fucking” Orlando. He would give you the shirt off his back, beat on you and tell you exactly how he was doing it. This is going to take awhile to get over!
Bob died after a lengthly fight with Lou Gehrig’s disease.
