EDC…  Or as we all know better every day carry.  I get asked regularly what I carry daily and what I recommend.  Usually I carry three tools.  A firearm, a utility knife and a flashlight.  The firearm can vary from a full size auto to a small pocket pistol or ankle holster.  The utility knife is almost always a benchmade griptillian.  I always have my surefire flashlight handy and ready to light up the night if needed.  I personally stay away from anything that says tactical or anything knife that is to big.  In Nevada we have pretty good knife laws so you could carry a much bigger knife but I prefer a small utility knife that I use every day for opening boxes.  The benchmade griptillian is perfect for that.  Each person will have to figure out what they want but for me I just want simple and user-friendly.  Glocks and Taurus fit the bill for me for hand guns and the benchamde griptillian also fits that bill.  As you are setting up your EDC think carefully about what you need and also how it would appear to your average every day citizen in a courtroom.
