Please… don’t put me on a pedestal!

IRT is all about improvement.  Individual improvement of ones skill sets.  It does not matter what my skills are on your journey.  I will take care of the work to keep my skills up.  What matters is that you work on your skill sets and attributes and that you get better and are able to achieve your goals and dreams!  Constant improvement of your skills and attributes has to be your primary goal.  Whether you are young, old, middle aged, etc. is irrelevant.  Your training is about improving your skill sets in your martial training.  IRT is a methodology and system to help you on your journey.   It is not the journey itself.  No as a combative system the goals are to turn out practitioner’s that constantly improve their skill sets so that if they have a chance to succeed in a violent encounter!  If you are in a violent encounter more than likely I won’t be there to help you at least not in person.  No, you will have your training, your attributes and your mindset there to help you in that moment.  Hopefully, I have had a small part in helping you prepare but…. in that moment it is on you!  So, how much hard work are you going to put in to be prepared?  It is on you in the end!  This is your journey…

See You On The Mats!
