Weaver vs. Isosceles which to use?  Modern competitive and combative shooting has gone to the Isosceles or a version of the modified Isosceles.  There are reasons for this one is the ability to manage recoil and another is that the for law enforcement or the military when in an Isosceles your body armor gives you more protection.
