DT’s On The Mountain…

Mt. Charleston Fall

So there I was up on the mountain getting fresh air and training law enforcement officer’s in Defensive Tactics.  People in this line of work need skill sets because there is always a potential during a shift that some kind of violent encounter could occur.  Modern law enforcement need to have skills that allow them to strike, work from a clinch, takedowns and grappling, retention skills, handcuffing and more.  The most important thing that officer’s need is a strong mind-set that allows them to function in a highly volatile situation and survive a confrontation.    It is always an honor to teach my brothers and sisters on the mats.  They all inspire me to be better!

See You On The Mats!!!
