
If the system you study breaks your body, then you need to leave. At 56 years old, I still am in good shape and move well. I’ve had bumps and bruises along the way with a few injuries, but… I feel like I’m in my thirties! I feel good, my body feels good and I can use my skills at work or for self-protection! This is what you should strive for. Being fit, healthy, and still effective. Now, I’m not naive in that I know I have good genetics, but while training extremely hard, I have been careful not to suffer major injuries. If you are studying a system and you see person after person getting serious injuries, then that should be a sign to you to get out!
