Okay I am a Glock Guy. I love glocks. They are a simple but effective firearm for Personal Protection. I have a bunch of them and I shoot them regularly. I have some in a pretty basic form with only extended controls, red dots, mag well and suppresor sights. I do have a few others though that also have triggers that are set up to be really smooth and are really fun to shoot! Those also have compensators on them. Glocks are a simple, tried and true effective Personal Protection firearm that just always work. However, having said all of that I have a firearm that feels like a more refined Glock and that is the Archon Type b Gen 2. This firearm has the same angle as a Glock so if you shoot Glocks it feels perfect in your hand. It is just a super refined firearm with a 4.5 lb trigger that feels perfect and it is made to go fast…

Striker-Fired Mechanism: The Archon Type B Gen 2 utilizes a striker-fired trigger system, which is designed to provide a consistent and reliable trigger pull. This system is known for its simplicity and effectiveness in various shooting scenarios.
Flat-Faced Trigger: The trigger is flat-faced, which many users find enhances control and accuracy during shooting. This design allows for a more natural finger placement and can improve the overall shooting experience.
Trigger Pull Weight: The trigger pull weight is measured at around 4.5 pounds, which is considered optimal for a balance between safety and performance. This weight allows for a clean break without being overly heavy, making it suitable for both rapid and precision shooting.

Clean Break and Reset: Users have reported that the trigger has an amazingly clean break with about 2.5mm of travel before reset and approximately 2mm of overtravel. This responsiveness is appreciated by many shooters, especially in rapid-fire situations.
Internal Safety Features: The Archon Type B Gen 2 includes an internal safety mechanism that prevents the gun from firing unless the trigger is fully pulled to the rear. This feature enhances the firearm’s safety profile, making it drop-safe and reducing the risk of accidental discharges.

Conclusion
The Archon Type B Gen 2’s trigger system is designed for performance and safety, making it a competitive option in the striker-fired handgun market. With its flat-faced design, optimal pull weight, and user-friendly features, it appeals to both new and experienced shooters looking for reliability and precision in their firearms.
