Last Night…

So last night we were coming out of the John Wick Experience here in Las Vegas. We were hanging around talking and I saw a young man also hanging out in the same general area by himself.  So he was on my radar. As we made our way to the car, I was tracking him and other people in the area but I noticed that this same individual started making a bee line towards us. Very direct, straight line.  As he got close I yelled “Back Off” in that loud authoritve law enforcement voice that I use. The young man said I’m just trying to get to my car to which I said-yelled, “your too close and you need to wait.”  Mind you its a dark parking lot, his right hand is in his hoodie and I’m prepared to neutralize him if needed. He backed away a little, we got in our car and and left. He also got in a nearby car but sat there waiting for us to leave. Not 100% sure of his intentions but it was one of those scary situations and I had multiple people I was going to have to protect. My intuition was also engage and I feel that if I hadn’t confronted him something would have happened.  Really, I have no doubt about it! Trust your gut, intuition…  I feel that since I engaged verbally with him and made a loud authoratative verbal engagement it broke his spirit to attempt to rob us.  We went from easy prey to a hard target.  Predators don’t like that!  They want an easy mark, easy prey!!!

When in parking lots always watch out for people, keep your head on a swivel and be prepared to take action if needed!

See You On The Mats!!!
