Better approach than most of what’s out there, but still requires a very high degree of skill and training. I favor an even more gross motor approach that I won’t go into here. People should definitely take an approach similar to this rather than the instructors who advocate that you “catch the knife or knife arm.” Ain’t gonna happen in the real world.
