…..Okay enough is enough! I have been sick now for two weeks. That is two weeks of really not doing anything much in the way of physical other than teaching classes and trying not to move to much. My bronchitis is in my lungs and I have that cough if I breath through my mouth. So naturally I am breathing exclusively through my nose. So since I have been feeling this way what have I been doing to keep up my training. Meditation, visualization, personal power growth and ritualization and other pursuits without a heavy physical component. So while I am not up to snuff I am still training in a different manner and fortunately it would seem that my cold is getting slightly better each day. However, I cannot wait for this to go away. Still even when sick, injured, etc. we need to have ways that we can train. Meditation and visualization are an extremely important part of this process. When visualizing you are training and getting reps in. You will maintain and improve particularly on the mental level of the technique. To many people do not get after it (meditate and visualize) when sick and that is a shame because you can really make a difference! So no matter whether you are injured, sick, disabled, etc. you need to train. There simply is no other way to keep you skills sharp!
See You On The Mats!
