…..I am a huge fan of firearm training simulators where you can visualize by having a video play and then have to make decisive decisions. Range training, etc, all has to be a part of a modern martial practitioners repertoire. While I think Rener here is a little gung-ho and maybe not as careful around firearms as he should be this video caught my eye with the initial footage of the live fire firearms training simulator. (part of his gung ho’ness though is great for the camera) The Gracie’s for a long time have been known to practice diligently with firearms. I think if you are a modern martial practitioner then you need to address firearms realistically and have professionals show you what to do and how to do it. Proficiency in firearms is essential whether you carry or also if you ever have to deal with someone trying to mug or hurt you with one. In order to have a chance then you will increase your odds by knowing how they work. Take a look at the video! However, more importantly go to a range and learn how to shoot!
