Patience!!!

The last week and a half has been a lesson in patience.  My house is under construction due to a plumber making a mistake and breaking a pipe.  Due to that mistake the master bathroom, master closet, etc. is all being replaced.  Construction is difficult on every level when you are the one going through it.  Particularly when everything is turned upside down and your daily schedule is affected greatly.  Fortunately my practice of the Martial Sciences has helped me quite a bit.  You see I understand the big picture and that “time” is some thing I can control.  Meaning, what really is a couple of weeks of construction in the grand scheme of life?  Nothing!!!   It is relatively easy to manage through this knowing that the end is in sight.  As a martial practitioner we all need to be “time” managers.  Managing how we train, live and enjoy not only our practice but our life!  Time is some thing that you control with your mind!  If you have patience time is your ally!

ahh the fun of owning a house, glad it is getting fixed and you made it a positive.

I shall have to tell you about the mistake a contractor made at an office I use to work in sometime… it only cost the contractors insurance about $1,000,000…or more

All I have to say to that is ouch!

All I can say is that when you are hack sawing old electrical conduits… make sure what your cutting isn’t part of the support system of a priceless antique chandelier
