I am sorry to report that Jose was caught in a Guillotine submission in his title fight defense. Some times you have to lose in order to move forward. When you lose a match or any confrontation in life then you need to re-evaluate what you have done and why it happened so that it will not happen again! Knowing Jose like I do I know he will get back and train even harder and work those defenses even more strenuously so that he will have his hands raised yet again in the cage! Stick with it and rise from this defeat even better than before!

All though I do not know him, beyond this site, I am sorry to hear about Jose, I have been following his progress via your Instinctive Edge site.
There is an old CMA saying I have heard in Taijiquan and Wing Chun that may help, “Invest in Loss” Basically it is a great way to learn and do better next time.
