Alma College Martial Arts Club Demonstration!

Recently Scott Sober and Patrick Myers took some time to do a demonstration with members of the Alma College Martial Arts Club.  Many of these fine practitioners work out at Alma College and come from a variety of disciplines.  The following pictures show what Scott and Pat were up too!

The Martial Sciences has so much to do with experiencing new ideas and training from other people.  Opportunities like this Demo are a wonderful opportunity to get out there and learn and experience what other people do!

It’s amazing what still pictures show at a moment in time. You can analyze things such as body position, foot placement, etc. You can look and ask yourself, were my feet to wide? Was I leaning forward to much? Is that off hand up? Little details that you, yourself might not observe in the moment. Thanks for posting these.

Photography, videography both can help a modern martial practitioner. We can gain insight into the how and why of what we are doing upon reflection! Glad you enjoyed the post Pat!
