While my personal practice of the Martial Sciences is very different than Aikido I really enjoy watching good Aikidoka perform. Enjoy this nice presentation.

There are not many martial arts or martial artists out there that impress my Taijiquan sifu (training Taijiquan over 50 years) but Aikido and Morihei Ueshiba do.
And I use to be entirely unimpressed with Aikido, about 20 years ago, until a woman, who was an aikidoka threw me on the ground and after that I got a chance to watch a demo from a very good Aikido Sensei who was that womans teacher.
Fast forward a little over 20 years and now my youngest is training at this sensei’s (now Shihan) school, by one of his sandan. And I sit there almost every class and watch and I find I am more and more impressed with good Aikido and what it is doing for the childern I watch train
