I recently received this beautiful art from an IRT practitioner. It is a traditional Barong Balinese mask. He knows my love of art and Silat so this is one beautiful gift. A Barong is a spirit from Balinese cosmology and they not only bring good health but also are guardians and protectors. Absolutely beautiful and I really appreciate this gift! It has found a home to guard and protect and bring good health too!

There are some things hanging in my house that have a similar function, but they are Chinese. My mother-in-law hung them up and my wife told me to leave them alone. Well all except for the one a Chinese friend of mine gave me years ago before I meant my wife, that one I was told to take down. Apparently it is for the purposes of attracting women to have a family 🙂

On a different but similar note there are all kind’s of Indian rules I live with too. Where the headboard of a bed must be, etc.
I only have 1 Chinese rule to follow…. do what my wife tells me 🙂
In life that is the important rule! 🙂
