Kettle Bells And The Martial Sciences………

Close Up Angled Elbow Posterized

If you train in the Martial Sciences you need to understand that it is an athletic endeavor.  You should need to have cardiovascular and strength conditioning as a supplement to your martial training.  One of the quickest workouts that I get in every other day is my kettle bell training.  Roughly in ten to twenty minutes I can push my body to exhaustion and still feel it in my muscles the next day.  I am not even doing anything fancy or spectacular just utilizing two kettle bells and doing a clean and jerk to military press until absolute failure.  This very simple exercise allows me to make strength gains and really feel it the next day. (ie. every six months or so I increase the kettle bell sizes in weight)  This quick workout allows me also to fit in on the same day martial training and abdominal training.  When I can find a good quick workout to supplement my martial training and I get good results then that is a win-win situation for me!  Find workouts that make sense for you that allow you to get and remain fit while still getting in great martial workouts!
