Knife attacks can happen incredibly fast.  So quick when someone is deceptive and has thought out there attack strategy.  Watch the following video to see exactly what I mean:

In watching this what could the intended victim have done better?  I will tell you what.  You always need to watch peoples hands.  What are they doing with them, what do they have in their pockets, hand bag, purse, etc.   When I cannot see someone’s hands I should be concerned.  Maybe I create a little distance or tell them to show me their hands, etc.  Bottom line if I cannot see someone’s hands it will definitely raise my alert level.
