Way to many martial practitioner’s fall in love with beautiful and fancy movement.  As a practitioner there is nothing wrong with practicing more complicated technique but don’t be to fancy.  Make sure that your technique is based in reality.  Simple, direct and efficient.  Love beautiful movement but don’t become obsessed with it.  Be a worldly martial practitioner who focuses on being effective in a moment of violence!
