A Sad Day…

Yesterday I found out my good friend Ian Kershaw passed away. Ian was one of the most genuine people you would ever meet. If he was your friend you knew it, and he was the type of friend that would drop everything to come and help you out. I grew up with Ian he was like a brother and a mentor and someone I could talk to on the phone for hours. When we got together we always talked about martial arts, scuba diving and working in law enforcement, dogs and more.  Ian always supported me whether when I was just starting out in the martial sciences or later when I was teaching seminars, no matter what he always came. One of my fondest memories of Ian was when he and Marvin Diem came into Las Vegas for the McGregor fight, and we met up and went to Hofbrauhaus.  Ian entered the drinking contest and while he didnt win, he did finish a  pint and it was quite the sight!!! 😉  We’ll, all miss you brother!!! Till we meet again!!!
