Often Shocked….

I watch a lot of MMA. I mean a lot! And I’m often shocked with the low level of quality that I see in a good amount of the matches. Basic grappling reversals and defenses are sorely lacking. Some fighters clearly do not know them or can’t apply them under pressure. That is a lack of preparation on the fighter and his coaches part. If you want to be a professional fighter at the very least you need to know how to bump and roll when someone is mounted on you. Or how to sprawl. Sometimes I wonder who is training these guys and who did they fight to get here. They must have been terrible. . Lesson to take from this. If you want to be a mma fighter find some really good coaches and put in the effort to learn. This also translates to those of us practicing for Personal Protection. Find a good instructor and put in the work!

See You On The Mats!!!
