Okay yesterday all day was spent with The Training Team going through the cpl/personal protection training national rifle association’s basic pistol safety and personal protection in the home. This is a very good course and highlight’s many important details about concealed pistol license and personal protection in the home.
The course covers the following subjects:
Basic Pistol Safety
Developing Safe Shooting Skills
Strategies for Home and Personal Safety
Legal Aspects of Personal Protection
Selection of Firearms, Ammunition and Accessories
The Training Team course instructors did an excellent job in presenting the material and in a manner that was enjoyable and interesting. Legal aspects were covered by a lawyer as per the course requirements and I am sure that everyone there came away with a new outlook on the responsibilities of gun ownership and also the responsibilities and legal aspects particularly pertaining to concealed carry in the state of Michigan. I thoroughly enjoyed the range training and live fire drills however I definately enjoyed the laser sight training as well. That was a nice bonus!
I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in firearm usage and safety to take their course. They go beyond what they need to do in many ways by providing all of the firearms to shoot with and all the ammo and lots of food for breakfast and a lot more for lunch. What more could you ask for in a cpl class that is reasonably priced?
