When you strive for some thing and you keep working at it even when you come up short the achievement of a goal is even sweeter! Last night Jose Prieto stepped back into the cage and after several championship matches he finally won his first belt! The match only lasted 55 seconds as Jose let his limbs fly and finished his opponent quickly! He had him on the ropes landing hand strikes, then paused and fired a head kick that dropped his opponent and finished with a flurry of strikes. Congratulations to Jose from all of the IRT family! We are very proud of you and know that you will take this even farther to the next level!

Great news! Congratulations to Jose. I assume this won’t be his “last” fight! LOL
Rest assured Jim there are more to come! Hopefully, people take notice at the higher levels in the MMA world. (ie. UFC, Strike Force, etc.) Jose Prieto can knock people out, submit them as well as provide awesome throws. Everything that a crowd loves to see in a match!
I ran into Jose about a week ago at Wal-Mart, and he was very confidant about the title fight he was going to be having. Just goes to show how perseverance makes you a winner. Awesome job Jose!
