    Not Katori Shinto Ryu but a friend of mine (LEO trained in Kendo, Uechi-Ryu, and Zen Do Kai ) is married to a woman from northern Japan and she is a Black Belt in Kendo. When they were first married he did some Kendo against her and she beat the heck out of him evey time with a whole lot of strikes he was never shown in Kendo this country. What I just saw in the Katori Shinto Ryu reminded me of some of her attacks.

    I have always told him he is a very brave man and better be a good and faithful husband because he has a set of real Samurai swords on his wall and she is likely a WHOLE lot better than he is with a katana.
