IRT/Stick Blade Striking Technique and Bag Work.

Full Contact Stick Fighting 2008 With Basic Strike And Heavy Bag Workout Photo 1

Following is a video clip shot quite a while ago so it is pre HD video camcorder.  It shows utilizing the strikes from our 1-19 Striking Techniques in the air and also on the heavy bag.  Through the years I have gone through a lot of bags so if you are utilizing your heavy bag some times it is best to have a cover for it.

In the following video clip you can see the 1 through 19 movements from 1-19 Striking Techniques as they are practiced in a set.

The 1- 19 Striking Techniques DVD can be purchased at our IRT Store:  Instinctive Response Training Store

Nice videos, and thanks again, I have always been a fan of the stick, great weapon.

in the “utilizing the strikes from our 1-19 Striking Techniques” video, what type of bag is that you are using?

  2. Brian VanCise says:

    Hey Tim,

Thanks. I am using a free standing Century XXL bag there. It is a really good free standing bag. Not as good as a Muay Thai bag but about as good as you can do for a bag that is not hanging.
