What To Do When You Have A Cold…

Weaver Stance1

I’m not giving any medical advise here for that please go see your doctor.  However, when I am sick.  Which I am now at this moment, physical training has to take a back seat and your mental training should come to the front.  When sick I like to do a lot of visualization training.  I think about specific techniques I want to work on and then I visualize myself doing them over and over again.  This type of training has been proven to be one of the great training techniques for elite athletes around the world.  When I am sick and any physical training is out of the question I will spend time just visualizing techniques and the more you practice this the more detailed your visualization skills will become.  Some times when sick you can do deep meditation breathing along with visualization and at other times that is just not going to be possible due to respiratory issues.  Still visualization can always be done.  No matter what your condition you can always work on your visualization skills.  There is always a place for some sort of training and visualization is perfect for when you are really down.

See You On The Mats!
